Birmingham - Sloss Furnaces

Stopped in Birmingham, Alabama on the way from Nashville to Santa Rosa Beach. These old furnaces made Birmingham one of the most economically energetic cities in the U.S. (who knew!!). Made for an interesting day of 'industrial' photography (is that a category)??
